The Washington State’s Attorney’s Office is determined to go after unwarranted agencies such as The Foreclosure Assistance Solutions that bleed the meager resources of poor homeowners who only want to save their property from being foreclosed. In this connection, The Attorney General’s Office has ordered FAS to submit the list of consumers who availed of their promised services.

Homeowners who were “victimized” by the empty pledge of FAS will likely get a partial refund of three hundred to five hundred dollars each. Meanwhile there is a proposed legislation by the Washington Attorney General’s Office where the homeowners shall be given protection from agencies offering bogus rescue services. This bill shall be implemented on June 12, 2009
